I have never been like this
I have never been so pleased,
As if someone gave me the treasures of the Universe
Treasures of the Universe...
For long, I have been in the dark,
For long, on my heart was a mark
Mark of deep unhappiness, darkness and loneliness
Darkness and the loneliness....
So long I’ve waited for this day
Everything is now OK
I have found Islam!
Guidance for us all
And relief for our souls
Sunshine of our lives!...
I’ve now found happiness
And the purpose of existence:
Submission to God,
May He now enable me
To persist and May He
forgive me,
Thank You, Allah for this day
When faith through Qur’ān came --
Came to fill my heart with sweetness of the truth
Nothing is as sweet as this
Nothing brings eternal bliss
Except the Grace of the Almighty `
So long I’ve waited for this day
everything is now OK
I have found Islam!...
