Mosques

Mosques signify a joint between Muslims and their rulers as these constitute the house of worship for all of them – contends Ghāmidī. He suggests certain measures which, if followed, would help revive a forgotten role that mosques were originally supposed to play in the Muslim world.

Sūrah Mursalāt

This is a commentary of Sūrah Mursalāt by Amīn Ahsan Islāhī. He quite masterfully employs his command of Arabic language to divulge the message of the sūrah. He has differed at certain points with the general interpretation but with reasons deduced from the Holy Qur’ān itself.

Riwāyah Bi Al-ma‘nā (Transmission by Meaning)

Islāhī here makes a very strong case in favour of narratives comming down to us – not as a verbatim version of the reported statement or episodic reproduction of the narrated event/s – but with narration of the underlying concept of whatever was said or done.

Praying for the Prophet (sws) after Ādān

This is a comprehensive text of different narratives attributed to the Holy Prophet (sws) on the above captioned topic along with its requisite explanation by Moiz Amjad and his team.

English Translation of the First Volume of Tadabbur-i Qur’ān

This is a book review which brings out qualitative distinction of the above translation, followed by some recommendations to the translator for the later editions and/or publications.
