Relationship between the Qur’ān and the Previous Scriptures regarding Divine Injunctions

The Holy Qur’ān unequivocally claims to be the last and final chapter of divine revelation. This has certain implications for the potential role that the Holy Qur’ān has to play in the ambit of divine guidance. In this short exposition, Hamīd Uddīn Farāhī unravels these implications to give us a better understanding of the Book.

The Institution of Consultation during the Reign of the Rightly Guided Caliphs

Islam believes in the consultative model of governance. It goes without saying that this model manifested itself perfectly during the reign of the Rightly Guided Caliphs. In this article, Amīn Ahsan Islāhi describes the academic basis of this model, provides a valuable insight into its practical manifestation and answers some very crucial questions that have been haunting the Muslim intelligentsia since long.

Belief in the Prophets

Divine guidance came to mankind through certain personalities that Allah selected for prophethood. Faith in them is as indispensable as need for divine guidance.
