God’s Domain

Human beings at times do not realize that they are stepping into God’s domain. In their fervour and zeal to produce results in their own favour, they become anxious and even manipulative at times.

We must remember that before God is the grand scheme of things. In accordance with this grand scheme, sometimes He does not let things go the way we want them to. In fact, results are quite opposite to what we expect. It is at such junctures that we must learn to trust God and also learn to let go. After all, on so many occasions in life, we did feel that what had happened earlier much to our dismay was in fact better for us.

Human beings cannot and must not interfere in God’s domain. The human domain is confined to doing what best can be done. Whether results are according to our expectation, or otherwise is God’s domain. We must not overstep our domain.

Having said that, it is equally important to realize the most important responsibility of the domain in which we human beings exist: we must try as much as we can to achieve our goals. Hard work and commitment together with a constant evaluation of strategy are essential. Praying to God before doing our part or doing it in a sloppy and careless way may not earn us any response from God. To expect any response, we must do our part in a befitting way.
