Jihād and War in Islam

Jāved Ahmed Ghāmidī expounds his understanding of the Islamic guidelines on armed offensives. He differentiates war against disblief from a battle to curb oppression. He also enunciates certain conditions to be fulfilled before waging a war.

Sūrah ‘Abas

This is Islāhī’s commentary on the sūrah. He, in addition to general expository notes, demonstrates structural coherence of the sūrah by relating the first paragraph addressed to the Holy Prophet (sws) to the remaining portions, as identified by Islāhi himself.

Companions of the Prophet (sws)

In the realm of isnād analysis, the status of  Companions (rta) of the Prophet (sws) is indeed focal. While their character is unanimously considered beyond investigation, there is a disagreement as to who is really a companion of the Holy Prophet (sws). Islāhī first describes different views upheld by the elders, and thereafter adduces the viewpoint he finds appropriate.

Eating Garlic, Onion and Leek in Cooked Form

This is a comprehensive text of different narratives attributed to the Holy Prophet (sws) on the above captioned topic along with its requisite explanation by Moiz Amjad and his team.
