Sūrah Kāfirūn

Presented here is the commentary of Sūrah Kāfirūn by Amīn Ah*san Is*lāh*ī. It deals with many important questions like who are the addressees of this sūrah, why have they been addressed in this seemingly harsh tone, and what is the significance of asserting their differences with the Holy Prophet (sws).

Sūrah Āl-i‘Imrān (1-20)

This is an annotated translation of the first twenty verses of Sūrah Āl-i ‘Imrān by Jāved Ah*mad Ghāmidī. In these verses, primarily the behaviour of those who profess faith in Allah is contrasted with the attitude of those who do not – accompanied by consequences of each approach.

The Real Criterion in Prohibition of Drinks

This is a simulation and explanation of a comprehensive text from different variants of narratives attributed to the Holy Prophet (sws) on the above captioned topic.

Is Ghazāli really the Halagu of Science in Islam?

This article contests the contemporary view that Ghazālī halted the growth of scientific studies in the Muslim civilization. The author, Sabieh Anwar, proves his point by furnishing references from Ghazālī’s celebrated works that leave no doubt about his stance on scientific disciplines.
